Vice-President’s Report (Joe Hajek)
Joe discussed our recent fish fry held at our Wednesday night fun shoot and wanted to thank everyone who helped make it a great success as always and those who slaved over the hot fryer grease during the middle of the summer.
Also, July 16, 2011 will be another kids shoot at the SCA Pavilion in Jefferson Barracks. First group begins at 9:00am. We need all the help we can get for this event so if you can donate your time the kids will appreciate it. We should probably get there around 7:30-8:00p to get things setup. Call Jack Keightley for any additional information.
Mystery shoot. If you have not heard the news you can pay an extra dollar at the Wednesday night fun shoot to participate. You will do your normal shoot, but one target each week will be designated as the mystery target. After shooting turn your scorecard into John Burrows (Range Captain) and at the end of the season whoever has the highest score for the mystery target will win a grand prize!
August begins our new SCA officer nominations so please be thinking of your selections and positions. We also have our deer classic approaching soon and we will need to schedule a work day to prepare. We will discuss this further at our July & August meetings.
In addition, Joe said that we received a check from the disbandment of the St. Louis Archery Council, but did not know for how much at this time.
Our annual John Woods Memorial Shoot is August 28, 2011 in Maestown for those interested. The cost is usually 10-12 dollars per shooter.
He also wanted to remind us to please help set up & or take down targets.

New Business
Lloyd Keightley said that for upcoming SCA club hunts and fishing outings that one paid member may bring one non-member to help increase our attendance and help promote new membership in our organization..
Need to schedule a workday prior to our upcoming Deer Classic
Mystery Shoot! See Range Captain John Burrows for details
Possible work day at Cabela's the end of July. See President Jack Keightley for details
It was also brought to our attention that as a club we need to do a much better job meeting and greeting new members & guests. Please make a conscious effort to introduce yourself to anyone you see that may be new or that you just haven't met yet.
We really do have a great organization! Let's show it!
Please support our SCA members who have family & friends serving in the Armed Forces.
