Officer Reports

President’s Report (Jack Keightley)

The club fishing trip was WET……….BUT, much fun was had by all.  The fishing was definitely fishing and not catching according to most but all seemed to have a great time enjoying the great outdoors and everyone’s company.  In all there should be plenty of fish left for our future trips.

Reminder again about the upcoming Veteran’s Shoot June 26, 2010 be there and bring a friend or two.  So far we have donations from Bass Pro, Harley Davidson, & a few other vendors.  If you know of a company or someone that would like to make a donation please ask.  We’re always looking for more.  Debbie Sidwell will again be running the silent auction at our Veteran’s Shoot and we thank Debbie for that.  We will need to get her a list of all of the auction items by July 19, 2010 for proper labeling and pricing.  We will have regular folding tables for auction items instead of picnic tables in the past.  Additional topics included the menu for the Veteran’s Shoot and food preparation and supplies for the day.  Jack is also going to be contacting potentially a few news media outlets to Veteran’s Shoot promotions like we had in the past.

Also, a motion was made & approved to donate a portion of our proceeds from one of our tournaments to the Windsor School District for help w/ their Archery in the Schools Program. We will also need volunteers for our upcoming Kid’s shoot sponsored by the County Parks Department for June 12, July 17, August 21, 2010.  If interested please see an officer.

We need to trim shooting lanes before hand and potentially get some mulch chips for some of the target lanes.  Steve Sykora is going to call a tree company to try and obtain free mulch chips and check into getting a bobcat again to spread the chips.

Vice-President’s Report (Charlie Natsch)

Charlie was unable to attend our May meeting.

Secretary Report (Jon Adams)

We had one new person request information about our club and shooting info.  This lead was generated from our website.  This individual read our newsletter and found my email address.  Hopefully, we may have a new member join our organization.  Please promote our website to anyone you know who shares our passion of the outdoors.  Also, if you have email and are receiving a newsletter by snail mail please help the club save $$ and view our monthly newsletters online.  We’ve yet to receive any 2009 harvest photos.  If you would like any posted send them to me at jadams@cbgundaker.com.
