President’s Report (Mike Gapsch)
We had a meeting with Parks – Crossbows will be open at the first 9 targets – they also recommended creating benches along those first 9 targets – additional storage was discussed but no decisions were made – a new letter of agreement is being drafted between the club and the Parks Department for 2021.

Four inches of gravel along the range has been ordered and will be delivered pending weather.

Sports show went well – special thanks to Mitch and the Turkey Federation for providing us a bow which was raffled off for the benefit of the club – The Turkey Federation is selling tickets ($45 single/$60 couple – includes Federation Membership) for their annual banquet on the 14th
of March, see Mitch.

Had a meeting with Bass Pro – they agreed to have us in August again to sell burgers & hotdogs as well as raffle tickets and promote the club – the date is tentatively set for August 1st & 2nd.

A Constitution Review Committee has been formed per the Constitution.

Awards banquet is March 22nd, see Henry for tickets – the event starts at 5pm with food served at 6pm.

Feb 22nd is NASP tournament – all shifts are currently covered.

Work day is March 14th at the range.

Spring Warm Up is March 28th – Back up day pending rain out is April 4th.

Also, please invite other to like and join our site as well. Secondly, you can also email your harvest photos to pics@southcountyarchers.com so we can upload to a gallery site
that we are putting together. Be on the lookout for updates to our website and social media pages. Lastly, if you know someone who you feel would be a good fit for our club please invite them to attend our functions and help sponsor them to become active members. Also, if anyone would like to purchase SCA apparel we have hats, polo shirts & T-shirts available for purchase. See Jon for details & to check available sizes.

Master Bowhunter Recorder (Ken Winkelman)
Make sure to have your deer measured if you got a Big Buck Award contender – Registration is over but if you have already registered a buck, you can still get it measured and submitted. Please register your deer – even if you don’t want personal accolades, it helps the club Club hunt is October 15th-18th.

New Business/Old Business

6 pallets of target material, frame material, a sprayer, a pull behind, and rock were purchased thanks to the grant. A discussion was had about placing foam under the targets in the bottoms in an attempt to
improve target conditions in the event of water coming up.

Last year, funds were allocated from The Boat Show to the Club Hunt for those who assisted in The Boat Show weekend – The year prior was for parking at the Boat Show – A motion to vote on this years allocation was held, we will maintain last years allocation.

Motion made to adjourn.

The doors for the banquet open at 5pm.

The Spring Warm Up does have a make up day in the event of rain on March 28th.
